Systems Administrator
Job Summary: 

The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of our clients’ internal systems, and is accountable for effective configuration, installation, and maintenance of their hardware and software systems. The Systems Administrator must ensure system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and all related procedures adhere to Whizkids company standards and values. This is a client-facing position in a support desk environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support Windows Server 2016/2019, Exchange 2013/2016/2019, and SQL 2014/2016/2018.
  • Provide IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications, as well as virtual environments built on Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Implement and support disaster recovery solutions using StorageCraft recovery solutions.
  • Support and implement remote access solutions: VPN and Terminal Services.
  • System documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and recommendations.
  • Implement/support Windows/3rd party patching, provide patch compliance reports.
  • Review remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets.
  • Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
  • Responsible for entering service tickets, time, and expenses as they occur.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Occasional on-site client visits required.
  • Occasional after-hours work required.
  • Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Service awareness of all organization’s key IT services for which support is being provided.
  • Escalate service or project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels.
  • Business awareness: knowledge of how IT relates to a client’s business strategy and goals.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer’s needs.
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Review IT publications and online materials to remain up to date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience in similar IT related role.
  • Two (2) year degree required or equivalent military service.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL server and Exchange server administration.
  • Experience with RMM tool (Recommended but not required).
  • Experience working at a managed service provider (Recommended but not required).
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure (Recommended but not required)
  • Technical Certifications (1 required) or achieved within first year of employment.
  • AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals
  • Microsoft MCP (MCSA or MCSE)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals

Account Manager

Job Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for inside sales and on-going account management. This position requires someone who is passionate about providing great customer service, has excellent organizational skills, can work in a fast-paced environment, and has a great attention to detail. Above all else, the candidate must possess an unwavering sense of urgency when it comes to taking care of customers. It will be their responsibility to promptly respond to customer needs. This position will work closely with multiple departments within Whizkids and play an important role in the overall profitability of the company.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Sales
  • Understanding of product line-up in order to make recommendations consistent with Whizkids standards.
  • Producing quick and accurate quotes for both new and existing clients. Adhere to Whizkids standards for quote submissions and approvals.
  • Develop solid working relationships with our vendors in order to obtain better service levels, leverage discount programs, and generate business leads/referrals for outside sales opportunities.
  • Track warranty and license expirations for possible upgrades and new purchases.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting calls to generate new business opportunities.
  • Documentation of all activities in our CRM.
  • Account Management
  • Schedule and conduct Business Reviews for all existing customers.
  • Develop working relationships with all existing customers to ensure Whizkids is their “go-to” company for all their tech needs.
  • Work with Service Manager to run service reports to best understand customer’s current conditions.
  • Ask for and obtain referrals for new business opportunities.
  • Work with Marketing to develop and implement campaigns directed at driving new business opportunities within existing clients (new service offerings, add-ons, etc.).
  • Documentation of all activities in our CRM.
  • Product Knowledge
  • Work with Operations Manager/Procurement to understand Whizkids’ product line-up.
  • Update outside sales team on any changes in the line-up.
  • Assist outside sales team with quote preparation, RFPs/RFIs, and other tasks when needed.
  • Keep up on industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of inside sales and/or customer service within a tech environment (required).
  • Team player and ability to work across company departments.
  • Unwavering commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience working with a CRM.
  • Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships.
  • Enjoy working with customers and external audiences.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Perform weekly bookkeeping and invoicing tasks.
  • Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable duties.
  • Prepare and process payroll.
  • Implement and maintain accurate inventory in multiple systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
  • Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
